Four killed in Afghanistan

At least four people were killed and three injured during a gun battle between Taliban and security personnel in Afghanistan, an official said Sunday.

"The battle occurred as a result of militants attacking a security check point in Darzab district in Jauzjan province late Saturday night," the official told Xinhua.

The victims comprise three militants and one security official.
