Four people were killed and one other critically injured in a road accident on Tuesday on the Mughal Road in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, police said.
"Four people were killed on the spot and one was critically injured at Shikargah on the Mughal Road today (Tuesday) afternoon when a vehicle belonging to Aircel cellular phone company fell into a deep gorge," a senior police official told IANS.
According to the official, the driver was backing up his vehicle when it went out of his control and dropped several hundred feet down into the gorge.
"The injured person has been shifted to hospital where attending doctors hav e described his condition as critical," the official added.
