Selfies, photographs of one's own self, help in depicting "power", says actor James Franco, who is very fond of posting pictures of himself on social media sites.
The actor says that pictures likes these especially work for people who are well known and want to be seen, reports contactmusic.com.
"Attention is power. And if you are someone people are interested in, then the selfie provides something very powerful, from the most privileged perspective possible," New York Times quoted Franco.
The actor has been seen in films like "127 Hours", "Spring Breakers" and "Oz the Great and Powerful".
