Fred and Dario Conca got their names on the scoresheet as Fluminense defeated Goias 2-0 in a Brazil's Serie A championship football match.
The 31-year-old calmly side-footed Jean's cross into the bottom corner at the Serra Dourada stadium Saturday night for his 14th goal of the campaign, reports Xinhua.
Argentine playmaker Conca doubled the visitors' lead a minute from time when he tapped in from close range after Chiquinho's unselfish pass.
Fluminense are now third in the standings with six matches remaining while Goias dropped to ninth.
Meanwhile, a Richarlyson own goal gave Gremio a 1-0 victory over Vitoria in Porto Alegre. The result lifted Luiz Felipe Scolari's team to fifth in the standings.
In Saturday's only other match Coritiba held Corinthians to a 2-2 draw at Sao Paulo's Itaquerao stadium.
