Japanese Ai Fukuhara made a shock second round exit from the World Table Tennis championships here on Wednesday.

The World No.8 Japanese had been cheered on by Chinese spectators throughout her 2-4 loss to Ukraine's Tetyana Bilenko. Bilenko played a solid defensive game and would switch to attacking only when chances came, winning the game 3-11, 11-7, 6-11, 11-9, 11-3, 12-10, reports Xinhua.

"A lot of things were on my mind when I took to the court. I lost to a chopper because I wasn't good enough," said Fukuhara.
