Gajesh, grandson of late legendary Tamil comedian Nagesh, who is making his cinematic debut in upcoming Tamil comedy "Kalkandu", will recreate his grandfather's magic on screen believes director Nandakumar.
"I wanted someone who could recreate the magic of Nagesh. I started looking out for someone who could fit into the shoes of Nagesh and that's when I came to learn about his grandson. I was told that he was interested in acting and I finally cast him," Nandakumar told IANS.
"After working with him I realized that he will definitely recreate his grandfather's magic on screen. I'm confident about it. We've completed the film and are planning to release it by August end," he added.
The film also features Dimple Chopade as the female lead.
