Micro-blogging website Twitter introduced an emoji on Ganesh festival, and the special emoji has won over hearts globally.
According to a statement issued by the site, the number of tweets using hashtag #GaneshChaturthi that went out from September 3 to 6, were 4,80,000.
There was also a spike on Monday morning with 600 tweets per minute.
The first-ever Ganesh festival emoji was launched on September 4. People can activate it using hashtags like #GaneshChaturthi, #HappyGaneshChaturthi or #Ganeshotsav.
After the hashtags are used, a Lord Ganesha emoji is activated next to the hashtag. It will be active until September 16.
