In a record of sorts in Telugu filmdom, upcoming horror-thriller "Gate" will be shot in a flat 18 days, says its director Rajesh Sai. The film is slated to go on the floors March 10 and is slated to release May 2.
"We are working on a very tight budget. Therefore, we plan to complete the film's shooting in 18 days. Another two weeks will be spent on post-production and promotions," Rajesh told IANS.
"It's going to be quite a challenge but it will give us an opportunity to work as a team towards a common goal. We will go on floors March 10 and plan to release the film on May 2, if everything goes as planned," he added.
Featuring debutants Abhinav and Madhumita in lead roles, the film is produced by Lakshmi Soujanya Gopal.
Reportedly, ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma recently wrapped his Telugu political-drama "Rowdy" in 18 days.
