The makers of "Gautham Nanda" on Sunday announced the Telugu film has emerged as the biggest grosser in actor Gopichand's career.
In an official post, the makers said the film minted Rs 25 crore in its first week in cinemas across the world.
Directed by Sampath Nandi, the film features Gopichand in dual role. One role features Gopichand in his stylish avatar yet.
Gopichand shed about 10 kg to play a reckless millionaire. A stylist was flown in from Mumbai to take care of his looks in the film.
The film's story is based on the classic "The Prince and the Pauper" but with a contemporary twist.
Also starring Hansika and Catherine Tresa, the film has music by S.S Thaman.
