Point guard George Hill decided not to show up at the Team US minicamp, which starts Monday.
The reason for his withdrawal is still unknown. US Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo said he would try to find out why the Indiana Pacers guard failed to show up, reports Xinhua.
Team USA organised the minicamp to get prepared for 2014 World Cup in Madrid. A group of 28 players would spend the four-day session with Team USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski.
Hill bagged 14.8 points and a career-high 4.9 assists last season for the Pacers.
