The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the appointment of Mas-ud Didi Dramani as the permanent head coach of the men's U-20 national team on Friday.
Dramani, who is the FA's Youth Development Officer, will be assisted by former Ghana international Yaw Preko ahead of the 2017 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers planned to begin in April, reports Xinhua.
Dramani will also be assigned other duties with the GFA in consultation with the Technical Committee, the GFA said in a release.
Before this appointment, Dramani had served as coach of the Black Maidens team that won bronze at the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan, former league champions Asante Kotoko.
He also helped the U-20 women's side qualify for the 2016 World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
The Black Satellites are currently in camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence at Prampram, preparing for upcoming assignments.
