A businessman was kidnapped in Ghaziabad, satellite town of Delhi in Uttar Pradesh, while he was on his way home late Thursday, police said.
According to police, Anil Mittal, 45, left his office around 10.00 p.m. While speaking to his son on cell, he uttered, "what is my fault?".
Sensing a danger to his father, Mittal's son called police.
Police raided some suspected goons' residences in the locality but in vain.
In the meantime, unofficial sources claimed the businessman was rescued in the early hours of Friday but there was no official confirmation.
