A three-year-old girl was found dead in a park in the upscale Sector 29 close to Huda City Centre Metro station here, police said on Wednesday.
The unidentified girl, who was well dressed, was lying on a bench in the park. Someone informed the police around midnight of Tuesday.
"There were some injury marks around the neck of the girl but the real cause of death will be ascertained after postmortem examination," a senior police officer told IANS.
Police denied any sexual assault.
