Go crazy with kaftans this summer

Beat the heat this summer by sporting a Kaftan, a variant of the robe or tunic, which has been worn by several celebrities around the world.

Fashion designer Sakhshee Pradhan of the label "Schon" has come up with her own wide range of kaftan collections.

"Kaftans are super chic and glamorously comfortable outfits. A good thing about it is that it can be worn round the year.

"I have given painstaking attention to the detailing in order to achieve a high degree of beauty that is visible in each piece that I have designed," Pradhan said in a statement.

"Kaftans are something that can go well on every age group and to enhance the beauty one can carry a fringed handbag to really give you a chic look. Slip on a trendy pair of sandals -- preferably with embellishments, bold accessories and a pair of big sunglasses to get the glamorous look," she added.

Kaftan is a versatile pieces and can be worn at many places like the beach, a cocktail party or even to a black-tie event.
