Customs authorities at the international airport here seized gold worth Rs.15 million from two passengers who arrived on a flight from Dubai Wednesday.

The seizure was made by a Customs team led by Sophia Joy, who found five gold bars weighing one kg each hidden in the socks and undergarments of the two passengers.

"This is the biggest seizure in terms of value in the recent past," Joy said.

Both the passengers belong to Kerala, the Customs officer said.
