Local golfers Varun Chadha in the handicap Category A (2-17) and Anil Kr Monga in Category B (18-24) qualified for the National finals on the final day of the 17th annual Mercedes Trophy at the Jaypee Greens Golf Resort here on Friday.
Varun amassed a net score of 71 to emerge winner after his round while Anil Kr. Monga carded a score of 72.8 to come up trumps in his category.
A total of six golfers qualified from the Greater Noida leg to complete the quota of 40 golfers for the National Finals.
Among other golfers, Vikas Mahajan won the Ballantine's Long Drive Challenge on the 15th hole with a drive of 335 yards.
Three winners from the National finals will progress to the Mercedes Trophy world finals in Germany in September to compete against winners from all over the world.
