Indian golfers S. Chikka and Shubhankar Sharma made their positions more comfortable for a return to the Asian Tour after they finished tied first and joint 17th after the third and penultimate round of the Asian Tour qualifying school final stage here on Friday.
While, Chikka carded one-over 72 for a three-day total of 10-under 203, Shubhankar took his total to five-under 208 following an even-par 71 at the par-71 Springfield Royal Country Club, where the top-40 and ties will earn an Asian Tour card for 2016.
Among other Indians in the fray, Rahul Bajaj scored 72 to be tied 62nd on 213 total, while Manu Gandas was tied 78th on 214. Amardip Malik was joint 104th on 217.
