Tripura police have arrested a government employee here for allegedly molesting a seven-year-old girl, police said Sunday.
Khowai (in western Tripura) sub-divisional magistrate office employee Rabindra Chowdhury was "arrested Saturday night for molesting a seven-year-old girl after snatching her necklace", a police official told reporters.
Police arrested Chowdhury after the victim's parents complained about the incident Friday.
Earlier on Oct 14, Tripura Police assistant sub-inspector Mangal Debbarma was arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl here.
