The government is organising the National Integration Week Nov 19-25 to foster communal harmony in the country.

The week-long programme will include National Integration Day (Nov 19), Welfare of Minorities Day (Nov 20) and Cultural Unity Day (Nov 23), an official release said here Monday.

It said the government also provides financial assistance for relief and rehabilitation of children rendered orphan or destitute in communal, caste, ethnic or terrorist violence through the National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH), an autonomous organisation with the home ministry.
