"Green Lantern Corps" will reportedly be directed by Rupert Wyatt, who also helmed "Rise of the Planet of the Apes".
Wyatt is set to work on the film, which is scheduled to release in 2020, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Wyatt is currently putting the finishing touches on a new sci-fi thriller titled "Captive State", but he has cleared his schedule to take on the upcoming "Green Lantern" movie.
"Green Lantern Corps" is set to feature both characters -- Hal Jordan and John Stewart -- with the movie being described as "Lethal Weapon in Space."
Warner Bros hasn't started casting for the film, but is looking for an actor aged 39-50 to play Hal Jordan and 21-30 to star as John Stewart.
