Singer Gwen Stefani and her husband and musician Gavin Rossdale are divorcing after 13 years of marriage, they announced in a joint statement.
"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time," read the statement, released on Monday, reports aceshowbiz.com.
As per reports, Stefani was the one who filed for divorce from Rossdale.
The "Hollaback girl" hitmaker cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce petition, seeking to end their union. Repped by attorney Scott Weston, Stefani is asking for joint custody for their three children, nine-year-old Kingston, six-year-old Zuma and one-year-old Apollo. She has chosen to refuse Rossdale's spousal support.
