Romanian Simona Halep won her first match at the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Finals against American Madison Keys here on Sunday .
Halep, ranked fourth in the world, needed only 69 minutes to defeat Keys 6-2, 6-4 in the Red group, reports Efe.
This is the fifth time Halep has defeated Keys in six professional encounters between the two.
