Mohit Suri's forthcoming directorial "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" has been given a 'U' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification.
Starring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles, the movie is a love story that tries to define the true meaning of loving someone selflessly.
"My film is a complete family movie. It is about love and longing. It questions the known meaning of what love between a man and woman should be because my film shows a married woman falling in love with a man after her husband disappears," Suri said in a statement.
"Even though he returns to her life after many years, he stakes claim over her because they are married. It's a story that makes you think if marriage is the true culmination of love or is there a deeper meaning to love someone selflessly," Suri said.
"Hamari Adhuri Kahani" releases on June 12.
