New Delhi, June 16 (IANS "Hamari Adhuri Kahani", directed by Mohit Suri, has raked in Rs.19.52 crore since its release on June 12.
The Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan starrer had an outstanding hold on Monday. The movie collected Rs.3.03 crore on Monday, taking the total nett at the box office to Rs.19.52 crore, read a statement.
The cost of production of the movie is Rs.35 crore and it has recovered Rs.22.5 crore from satellite and music sales.
Suri, who had earlier directed blockbusters "Aashiqui 2" and "Ek Villain", tried his hand at romance again with the movie that questions the definition society has for love through his characters. It also talks about liberation of women from patriarchal society.
Produced by Vishesh Films, the film has been marketed and distributed by Fox Star Studios.
