Short film "Happy Birthday", directed by Rahul Bhatnagar, addresses the social issue of domestic violence.
Backed by Delhi-based film studio Natak Pictures, "Happy Birthday" is available for viewing on YouTube, read a statement.
"With this film, we have tried to touch upon the highly sensitive social issue of domestic violence with a very creative yet careful approach. The feel of the film has been intentionally kept dark to complement its diabolical story," said Bhatnagar.
"Though the message we are trying to bring out through the film is very basic and obvious but the manner in which it is presented will definitely give goose bumps to the audience," he added.
The short film features Kritika Bharadwaj, Radha Bhatt, Dhruv Thukral, Mahesh Bhatnagar and Milind Tyagi.
