Haryana to honour victims of Emergency

The Haryana government will honour the victims of Emergency or their heirs, it was announced on Thursday.

They will be honoured with 'Tamar Patra' on August 15, an official said.

Besides, the victims and their spouses would be able to avail free travel facility in state roadways buses and have 75 percent fare concession in Volvo buses.

The Emergency was imposed in India from June 25, 1975 to March 21, 1977.
