Former Playboy playmate Donna D'Errico says the adult magazine's chief Hugh Hefner will be remembered as a kind and generous man.
The "Baywatch" star and Miss September 1995, told tmz.com that Hefner's public persona only tells part of his story.
She says behind the scenes he was a warm, caring man who treated Playboy models like family and still looked out for them years after they had appeared in the magazine, reports tmz.com.
D'Errico also expressed regret about a decision she made, due to which she missed seeing Hefner to say goodbye.
Hefner died at his Los Angeles home in September. He was 91.
