A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Canadian International Training and Education Corporation (CITREC) and India's Prabhatam Group was signed Tuesday to help fill jobs lying vacant in Canada.

The MoU will help in the smooth migration of Indian workers to Canada which has 1.3 million jobs lying vacant in the skilled sector.

The Prabhatam Group will shortlist candidates who will then be assessed by CITREC and provided with a Canadian government certificate.

"The MoU will help in curbing numerous bogus consultancy firms," said Mayank Gupta, director of the group.
