Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp Tuesday reported sales growth of 30 percent in September by dispatching 600,000 units.
According to the company, it sold 468,670 units in the corresponding month of last year.
The company had crossed the 600,000-plus units figure in monthly sales in only two previous occasions - in Oct 2013, when it sold 625,000 units and in May 2014, when it sold 602,000 units.
The company added that it had sold over 170,000 units in retail sales during the first six days of Navratri - which is a growth of more than 15 percent over the corresponding period last year.
