Moreno Hofland of Belkin-Pro Cycling Friday triumphed in the sixth stage in Tour of Hainan cycling race.
Hofland, the owner of yellow jersey and green jersey, clocked a winning time of 2:36.43 while second place went to his teammate Lars Boom and Chistoph Schweizer from Synergy Baku Cycling Project was third, reports Xinhua.
Hofland told the press he thought Bos, the winner in the last four stages, might meet with difficulties in the mountain stage.
The seventh 217.2 km stage from Wuzhishan to Dongfang located in the east of Hainan will be contested Saturday.
