Hot Thursday ahead in Delhi

It was a warm Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast a hot day ahead.

The maximum temperature for the day is likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius.

"The day is likely to be hot with dust storms in some parts of the city," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 46 percent.

Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 41.8 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 26.1 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
