It was a sunny, hot Tuesday in Delhi with the maximum temperature at 37 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast similar weather Wednesday.
"The sky will remain cloudy tomorrow (Wednesday) and the maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 37 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The minimum temperature Tuesday settled a notch above the season's average at 27 degrees Celsius, while the day's maximum humidity settled at 82 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 27 degrees Celsius.
