A huge quantity of explosives, including gelatine sticks and detonators, were seized in West Bengal Wednesday, police said.
Following specific intelligence inputs, the police made the seizure from a warehouse in Birbhum district's Rampurhat area, some 190 km from here.
Police detained one person in connection with the case.
"We have recovered 1,500 kg of gelatine sticks and 525 detonators. The prime suspect - owner of the warehouse - is missing. We have detained a person for questioning and are looking for the owner," Superintendent of Police Rashid Munir Khan said.
