The weather continued to remain sultry in the national capital Thursday as the maximum temperature was a degree above normal at 35.7 degrees Celsius and humidity wavered was high as 87 percent. The Met office forecasts cloudy Friday.
"Partly cloudy sky with the maximum and minimum temperature likely to hover around 35 and 25 degrees Celsius," said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
Thursday's minimum temperature was also a degree above normal at 25.2 degrees Celsius, while the lower level of humidity was 51 percent.
Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperatures had also settled a notch above the season's average at 35.5 and 25.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
