A district prosecutor in Hungary on Thursday launched an investigation into the case of a camerawoman who was caught on video tripping a migrant father carrying his child, Hungarian News Agency MTI reported.
The prosecution has received complaints that the woman had been physically belligerent with several migrants, Sandor Toro, the deputy chief prosecutor of Csongrad county, said.
The camerawoman, Petra Laszlo, not only tripped the father with his child in his arms, but also kicked two running children on Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
Laszlo worked for an internet-based TV station called N1TV. She was fired by N1TV on Tuesday, following the incident.
