Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) on Tuesday reported a 13.5 percent rise in total sales for August.
The South Korean automobile manufacturer's total sales last month stood at 54,608 units - up from 48,111 in the corresponding month of 2014.
Domestic sales surged by 20 percent at 40,505 units, from 33,750 units off-take during August last year.
Exports dipped by 1.8 percent, with 14,103 units shipped out. The figure stood at 14,361 in the corresponding period last year.
