BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain Monday said here that he is not afraid of a threat to kill him for praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"I don't care for the threat and am hardly bothered about it. I will continue to speak for BJP and (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi," Shahnawaz told mediapersons here in response to threat calls from a phone number from Dubai telling him to stop praising Modi.
Shahnawaz, who arrived here to attend a party function, said the person who threatened him was anti-national and a coward.
"I never get tense over such threats because I have to work for the party and the country," he said.
Two calls were received by Shahnawaz Hussain on his mobile number Saturday night. He was threatened that he will be killed if he did not stop praising Modi. A case has been lodged.
