Yoga guru Ramdev's aide Ved Pratap Vaidik, whose meeting with 2008 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed has kicked up a political storm, Monday said he only wanted to analyse the Pakistani terror outfit leader's mind.
"I am a journalist and I wanted to know him. Why does he indulge in violence against India? I wanted to analyse his mind," Vaidik told CNN-IBN.
His meeting with Saeed led to a huge uproar in the Rajya Sabha Monday.
Saeed is the chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawa, which the US recently described as a terror outfit.
