Television actor Mrunal Jain, who has recently got engaged to a girl chosen by his parents, says he is going by his parents' choice as he never wanted a love marriage.
"I have always been very sure in my mind that I will go for an arranged marriage, which is what kept me sturdy. I was never interested in love marriage," Mrunal, currently seen in "Uttaran", told IANS.
Mrunal said he always wanted to give this "happiness to my parents", and was looking forward to settle down with fashion designer Sweety.
"They will never chose anything wrong for their son. I gave them liberty to chose right partner for me. It was like a mutual agreement between me and my mom-dad," he added.
Talking about his fiancee Sweety, Mrunal said he is lucky that she understands his profession and time constraints.
"TV life is very hectic. It is becoming very difficult to take out time for myself. My better half is very understanding and she understands everything. We are very lucky...," he said.
Hectic schedules are always there because of the deadlines, Mrunal admits but says he will try to take out more time for his family after marriage.
"Work has been a priority, but now my personal life is there. Every person changes after marriage. But balancing both (professional and personal life) and taking my life forward will be the main focus," he said.
Talking about future plans, the actor said there are things in the pipeline, "but you will have to wait and watch".
