FC Barcelona forward Neymar has said he will not change the way he plays despite angry reactions from Athletic Club Bilbao defenders in his side's 3-1 win in the Copa del Rey final at the Camp Nou stadium.

With Barcelona 3-1 up and only minutes remaining on Saturday, Neymar attempted to flick the ball behind his body and over the head of Athletic's Unai Bustinza, provoking an angry reaction from the Basque defender and the rest of his teammates.

The Brazilian was then treated to a chorus of boos from the Athletic fans and given some rough treatment by rival defenders every time he touched the ball in the final few minutes.

"I don't know why they reacted like that. It's my way of playing. I have always played like that and I am not going to change because some people get angry. It was a move like any other. These things happen in football," Neymar was quoted as saying by Ireland's TV3.

The Spanish club's win means they have now completed a domestic double of La Liga and Copa victories ahead of next weekend's Champions League final against Juventus.

"The double is done. Now we are just 90 minutes away from making history. The pressure was great, but we controlled the game and we have won the title. Now we will rest and start thinking about the treble," Neymar said.
