Actor Idris Elba says his recent asthma attack on a plane was "scary".
Elba had the attack while he was on an airplane bound for South Africa where he was supposed to attend a press conference for his new movie "Mandela: Long Walk of Freedom".
The 41-year-old managed to catch a later flight to Johannesburg in time for the screening of the movie, and he recalled on the red carpet how his health woes terrified him, reports contactmusic.com.
"I've battled asthma most of my life and it just overwhelmingly took me down while I was on a plane. It was very scary," he said.
He was rushed to a hospital from London's Heathrow airport after suffering breathing difficulties.
