Imran Khan has revealed that his wife Avantika will feature in his forthcoming film "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein".

Directed by Punit Malhotra, the film tells the story of a man who travels to a village from the city to win his love. In the film, Imran plays a South Indian guy, who falls in love with a social worker, played by Kareena Kapoor.

"There is one half-second flash where you can see her but that is because we know it is there," Imran said Wednesday during the promotion of the film at a radio station here.

"I don't know if people (audiences) will catch it or not," he added.

Avantika has featured in as many as three films of Imran, "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na", "I Hate Luv Storys" and "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" and the actor confesses she brought good luck for the films.

"It has been a good luck in a couple of films, but it's a fun thing," Imran, who married Avantika in 2011, after a 10-year relationship, said.

"She is very, very close to a lot of directors that I have worked with. She is very friendly with Punit (Malhotra), Abbas Tyrewala of 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na', and that's why she is popped out here and there in the films," he added.

Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" will hit the theatres Nov 22.
