India posted a strong 184 for three against Australia in the second of the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) here on Friday.
Openers Rohit Sharma (60 in 47 deliveries) and Shikhar Dhawan (32 in 22) provided a 97-run partnership in 11 overs till the latter's dismissal.
Later, Virat Kohli scored a quick-fire 59 not out in 33 deliveries as India mustered 98 runs in the final 10 overs.
For Australia, James Faulkner and Glenn Maxwell picked up a wicket each, while Dhawan was run out.
