The Asian Development Bank (ADB) board of governors, the highest decision-making body of the lending agency, will meet here May 4-5.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is scheduled to address the opening session of the board of the governors meeting Saturday.
Business sessions of the board of governors are scheduled to take place May 4-5, in which representatives, mostly finance ministers and governors, from all 67 member countries are likely to participate.
The meeting will take place at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi National Capital Region. A series of meetings, seminars and networking events start from Thursday, according to information provided by the Manila-headquartered ADB.
India is hosting the ADB board of governors' meeting for the third time. The first time India hosted such a meet was in 1990, when it was held in New Delhi. The other meeting took place in Hyderabad in 2006.
