India to play two international friendlies in October

India will play two international football friendly matches against recently crowned AFC Challenge Cup champions Palestine in October 2014.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) confirmed that India would play Palestine Oct 6 and Oct 9.

As per the July 2014 FIFA Rankings, Palestine are placed 85 -- 66 places above India who are presently lying on 151st position.

The last time the two countries met in an international friendly was in February 2013 in Kochi when Palestine beat India 4-2.
