Police in Nepal arrested an Indian at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) here Friday for illegally possessing 248 grams of gold.
Shravan Chandrashekharan was arrested when he was about to board a Jet Airways flight to New Delhi Friday afternoon, The Himalyan Times reported.
Police said Chandrashekharan had hidden the gold in the battery of his laptop.
The arrested man has been handed over to the Kathmandu metropolitan police
range.
