Indian eves beat West Indies in Word Cup tie

India defeated West Indies by seven wickets in their first round match of the women's cricket World Cup here on Thursday.

Chasing a target of 184 runs, India achieved the target with 45 balls remaining.

This is the second consecutive for India in this tournament. They had defeated hosts and strong title contenders England by 35 runs on the opening day.
