A Singapore court Friday sentenced an Indian national to nine months in jail for molesting a woman here.
Vadla Kandappachari, 38, a construction worker who was carrying out upgrading work at a construction site here, groped a 43-year-old woman in mid-January, the Channel Newsasia reported.
The woman used to live there.
The court heard that the accused went to the woman's unit to inspect and carry out the upgrading work.
He grabbed both her arms from behind and reached for her right breast.
The victim, however, managed to break free by biting the accused's hand and raised the alarm, the court heard.
