India's men's team which won the gold medal at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games has been nominated for the Asian Squash Federation's (ASF) "Outstanding Team of the Year" award.
Cyrus Poncha, the coach of the team, was declared the winner of the "Coach of the year award" for the team event, according to an ASF release on Thursday.
Kush Kumar, the first Indian junior male player to reach the semi-finals of a World junior squash championship, won the Hassan Musa Award for his outstanding performance of the year (boys).
Kumar won bronze in the championship, held in Namibia, last year.
