Spain's World Cup winning star Andres Iniesta is likely to visit India in August to promote his wine brand Bodega Iniesta.
Bodega Iniesta's export manager Lorenzo Enrique Medina recently met their Indian partner Rajbir Singh and said that the Barcelona star was keen on especially visiting Delhi, Agra for the Taj Mahal and meet some of the top Bollywood stars, said a release.
Rajbir said that Iniesta will be promoting his '116 minute' brand of wine in India. The wine has been named after his famous extra time goal against the Netherlands in 2010 World Cup in South Africa. This time, however, the Netherla
"During the shooting of the calendar of Andres in Barcelona, he was so interested to come to India. But due to hectic La-Liga matches, he could not make it but now hopefully after World Cup 2014, he will have some time in August to visit and promote his wine 116 minute. This is most popular brand after his goal on 116 minute in the final," Rajbir said in a statement.
Rajbir said he plans to invite India's football stars Baichung Bhutia and Sunil Chhetri for an interaction with Iniesta.
"In India, many film stars are also huge football fans. Yes I know, Shahrukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham and even (Mahendra Singh) Dhoni is a big fan of football and I want to invite all of them for the gala dinner party though I don't have any direct connection but some how I will invite them for sure."
"My fingers are crossed and hopefully Spain will win again this World Cup and if so happens, then his visit will be memorable," he added.
